Why did you choose Five Point to renovate your kitchen?

We chose Five Point to renovate our kitchen because we were pleased with prior projects completed by Five Point in our home.  We felt very comfortable with the employees of Five Point working in our home for an extended period of time.  The lines of communication between Doug, Rob, myself and my husband were always open.

When you were thinking about renovating your kitchen, what were the top three things you were hoping to achieve?

We wanted an updated kitchen that would show well in the event we choose to downsize, we wanted to install an upgraded appliance package, and we wanted beautiful cabinets.

Now that your renovation is complete, is there anything that you would do differently?

I would have chosen a simple backsplash. I would have also sought the advice of a designer for selecting tiles/countertops/cabinet colors.

If a friend was thinking about renovating their kitchen, what advice would you give them?

Renovate in the late spring, summer or early fall so that you can eat meals outside during renovations. Take advantage of the crock pot, instant pot and toaster oven for meal preparation. Consider supporting local restaurants while your kitchen is under renovation. Do not date your kitchen by choosing trendy colors. Ask for the help of a designer to match back splash with counter top and counter top to cabinets. Use a very simple elegant backsplash that doesn’t clash or interfere with countertops.

Would you hire Five Point in the future and would you recommend us to family and friends?

We would absolutely hire Five Point and we have already recommended Five Point to friends!
